About

Sweet Music Studio was formed in 209 when musician and music teacher closed his studio in Keene, NH and moved to South Hadley, MA.  Originally just private lessons offered on mandolin and fiddle, the studio quickly added a Celtic group class, a Mandolin group class, a Bluegrass group class and a Klezmer group class which met every week.  The Mandolin group class expanded over the years and eventually became the South Hadley Mandolin Orchestra, with its first performance of Bach, Mozart and originals in January of 2015.  The Celtic group class began to perform out in public initially at farmers' markets and garage sales and later at nursing homes like the Loomis Village, rehab centers, Veterans homes and Museums.

Sweet Music Studio offers private and group classes on violin and fiddle, viola and cello; mandolin, mandola and mandocello; guitar, tenor banjo and erhu!
